BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Summary
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced sales professional who is passionate about winning new business. We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with proven success in sales who can apply consultative selling skills to generate new clients for our firm. You will be responsible for researching prospects, maintaining a prospect database, evaluating and acting on leads, and maintaining contact with prospects to cultivate and close new business relationships.
Education and/or Experience
The qualified Business Development Manager must have a Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years experience in inside sales, and a proven track record. Marketing and/or advertising industry experience a plus, but not required. POSITION NAME:
SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR
Requirements
The Systems Administrator must demonstrate excellent consultative and communication skills; be an organized, detail-oriented people person; and possess initiative and consistent methodology of problem solving.
The qualified candidate must be familiar with industry-standard security practices including VPN and Firewall technologies; possess demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, and Windows-based business applications including Office 2007; and possess demonstrated knowledge of Mac OS X, Mac OS X Server, and Mac-based graphics applications including Adobe Creative Suite 3.
The Systems Administrator must have a strong background in the installation and administration of networking technologies including switched networking, TCP/IP, and WAN technologies, as well as have a working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft Exchange 2007, and Exchange Edge Server technologies.
Responsibilities
Duties of this position include the implementation and maintenance of Mac OS X, Mac OS X Server, Windows XP, and Windows 2003 Server based computing systems; high availability storage solutions including Fiber Channel, SCSI, RAID, and NAS; Citrix Presentation Server farm, Wyse terminals, Firewall / VPN technology, Exchange 2007 Server, Symantec Backup Exec, and Symantec Enterprise Security; and current inventory of all computer hardware and software, including software version and serial numbers and hardware configurations of user workstations.
Additional duties include configuring and installing new user equipment; providing functional training for e-mail and network resources; managing applications and hardware including support and maintenance of current versions of administrative and graphics applications, software installations, software upgrades, hardware installations, and hardware upgrades; and maintaining working technical knowledge of major visual design programs released by Adobe, Quark, and Macromedia.
The Systems Administrator must be available, when possible, for consultation/system recovery outside normal working hours.
Education
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline is required. Applicable certifications are a plus.
