Oden Wins Gold at District ADDYs
Two entries advance to national competition
(Memphis, Tenn.) — Oden won two Gold awards at the district ADDY competition for work on the International Paper Accent Opaque Serious Designer campaign. Both entries advance to national competition. American Advertising Federation District Seven announced the results today.
Oden took gold in color photography for both the single portrait and campaign categories. The Oden Eats fundraiser cookbook won a Silver ADDY for advertising industry self promotion.
The district wins follow Gold awards at the AAF Memphis competition in March. Oden captured 20 total ADDYs at the local level.
“We are thrilled about qualifying for the national ADDYs,” says Principal, COO, and Creative Director Bret Terwilleger. “The Serious Designer campaign was a unique project targeting graphic designers, and our team worked hard to push the envelope. The district wins are another indicator that it connected with some of our own.”
AAF District Seven will present the awards at its Spring Convention in Mobile, Ala., on April 23. National judging will take place May 7–8 in Washington, D.C.
