Oden employee wins three ADDY awards
(Memphis, Tenn.) — Jerry Plunk, a production art manager at Oden, recently
won two Gold ADDY awards and the Judges Special Award. His winning entry, a
poster titled “Circuit Ride,” promotes an annual bike ride hosted by the Mississippi Methodist Conference.
The piece won Gold in the categories of Local Only (Art Direction, Print) and Collateral Material (Poster, Single). Plunk accepted the awards at the annual ADDY Awards event hosted by the Memphis Advertising Federation in February.
“These awards are a wonderful testament to Jerry’s creative and photographic skills,” says Bill Carkeet, principal and CEO of Oden. “The recognition shows how much he enjoys giving back to the community.”
The ADDY Awards recognize creative excellence across all forms of advertising. The annual competition is conducted through local and regional chapters of the American Advertising Federation (AAF). Plunk’s local awards qualify his work for consideration at the regional level.
As a firm, Oden won Silver awards in the categories of Collateral Material (Brochure), Direct Marketing (Single—Either B2B or Consumer), and Local Only (Art Direction, Print).
