Production Art Designer
This position is responsible for creating production art for customer-facing materials including but not limited to forms, packaging, labels, and door tags while maintaining brand standards. The Production Art Designer is responsible for creating layout and building electronic files within strict parameters of brand guidelines, vendor tolerances, and product standards while keeping the customer experience a top priority.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete revisions requested by client to layouts and
writing logs.
- Maintain the system used to communicate and record all client requests and approvals.
- Prepare materials for and follow up on key issues discussed at committee meetings.
- Fulfill forms and packaging image requests and supply printed samples to clients.
- Update specification documents and prepare electronic files
for production.
- Manage the company’s master library.
- Assist with determining the creative direction for broader projects.
- Assist with the organization and records kept for onsite and
offsite sample storage.
- Ensure all aspects of production related requests are
accurate and current.
- Communicate problems and progress with Senior
Program Manager.
- Respond to change productively and handles other essential duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field required.
Experience: Minimum three (3) years relevant experience.
Experience in administrative capacity preferred.
SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Ability to work under stress and deadlines
- Proficient in creating presentation materials/binders
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of Macintosh and PC platforms
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, FileMaker, and Microsoft Office applications
- Must be able to look for ways to improve and promote quality and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.
- Basic administrative/clerical skills
